Jacqueline Hennardloop_jhennard

 

Jackie Hennard works with Lakelaw clients in both the Waukegan and Chicago Offices. Her practice focuses on representing consumer debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy matters. She also represents a Chapter 7 Trustee in consumer cases, and has represented clients in state court proceedings, particularly in defending mortgage foreclosures.

 

Jacqueline is admitted to the bar in Illinois as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She is additionally a member of the American Bar Association, the Lake County Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association.

 

Prior to joining Lakelaw, Jacqueline served for over two years as a law clerk for Schuster and Simmons, in Cleveland, Ohio, where she worked on cases involving employment discrimination, predatory lending, and white collar crime. As a law student, Jacqueline was active in the public sector, working for a state agency investigating employment and housing discrimination claims.

 

Civic Activities:

  • Judged moot court competition for the Chicago Bar Association
  • Organized 5k team to fundraise for Chicago Volunteer Legal Services
  • Assisted with reading program for Cleveland Public Schools
